Waymarked pathways lead to this spot. Close by is a Church of the Apparition of the Virgin Mary, the most important pilgrimage church in Istria.

Energy powers intertwined with legends

The Moon Bay, whose official but less widely used name is the Bay of Saint Cross, is a high-energy zone, according to measurements by the world-famous Earth healer Marko Pogačnik. This is where energy meridians, or the so-called dragon veins, are believed to converge.

The Church of the Apparition of the Virgin Mary and the Strunjan Cross are fabled places where traces are visible still today of the stony footmarks and tears cried by the Virgin Mary on the day she calmed the stormy sea, saving the lives of seafarers.
