Struga Castle

Struga Castle is a fine example of the typical Carniolan castle architecture of the 16th century. On account of its commanding location by the River Krka, it ranks among strategically important monuments of the Dolenjska region. The masters of the castle, Volk Turjaški of Struga and Eleonora Sobjeska of Richenburch and Struga, are inviting you to call in for a visit. They will take you on a journey back in time, to the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque.
