Experienced instructors of the first Nordic walking centre in the country. Effective physical exercise for rehabilitation and relaxation. Strengthens the muscles and relieves the body of tension and stress.

Safe exercise: for anyone

Research has shown that Nordic walking is safe even for people with degenerative changes of the joints and spine, as well as for people who are overweight. It is also effective in rehabilitating heart patients.  Nordic walking helps you to:

  •  maintain and increase your aerobic endurance,
  •  strengthen the whole body (shoulders and upper chest, arms, back, abdomen, legs),
  •  reduce the strain on the knees, hips and the lumbar region of the spine by as much as 26%.

Nordic walking poles and technique

The Nordic Walking Centre in Šmarješke Toplice runs special Nordic walking courses.
Experienced instructors will also help you choose the right equipment for you. You can put your technique to the test on nine signposted routes in the surrounding areas.
